Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKARL SIMANDL May 31, 1916 - August 13, 2011 Peacefully on August 13, 2011 Karl Simandl passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital, at the age of 95 years. Survived by his wife Emmy, his daughter Jacqueline and her husband Gary, and niece Sissy. Karl was born in Vienna, Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1951. Karl and Emmy ran a successful hair dressing business in Winnipeg for 45 years. The family wishes to thank the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their compassion and care. A memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, on Wednesday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m. Friends are invited to join the family in a celebration of Karl's life.
